No Cartridges – Just Ink

Unlike most wide format printers, the Canon TC-20 does not use traditional ink cartridges.  Instead, the printer is filled using 70ml bottles which are 100% recyclable and use less packaging. ​The Canon TC-20 compact A1 printer ships with 280ml worth £199, far more than any other printer in its class!

Paper sizes for the Canon TC-20 Printer

Rolls – The Canon TC-20 takes a maximum roll size of 610mm x 5omt CAD Paper or 610mm x 30mt length in heavier 120gsm or 180gsm matt presentation paper, or 190gsm satin or gloss photo paper, with a maximum core size of 50mm / 2″.  Rolls of 297mm, 420mm, 432mm and 594mm can also be used up to a maximum of 30-50mts in length depending on the paper thickness.

Sheets – The Canon TC-20 takes sheet media from A4 – A2 size.

Print Types

The Canon TC-20 is designed for CAD and technical colour printing to produce plans, elevations and maps.  Users can also use this printer for the occasional colour poster or photo print, but if images are your main print type, we suggest talking to one of our team about the correct model for you.

Need Cheaper Running Costs?

The Canon TC-20 is Canon’s most affordable wide format printer, but is designed for home offices and/or moderate print volumes.

​​If you have higher print volumes or are just concerned with lower running costs, then consider the Canon TM or TX Series printers. These models have much bigger ink cartridges and lower cost per prints.
