GDS stocks a huge range of uncoated plain plotter paper rolls and sheets in two popular weights and we know what fits your HP DesignJet T830 MFP (and what doesn’t). Note that, just to confuse matters, HP's T830 model comes in two sizes - A1 / 24 inch (F9A28A) and A0 / 36 inch (F9A30A) so it's best to ensure you buy a roll that fits your specific model - we have noted which in the description bullets next to the roll image! We have put together a list of the most popular rolls for you to choose from with total peace of mind for excellent print results from a roll that fits. This is selection is all 2 inch core (50mm) as neither T830 model cannot handle larger 3 inch core rolls.

Traditionally architects and construction firms favoured 80gsm as this grade not only folded very well, but was also the least expensive to post with Royal Mail. Nowadays, as plotters have developed and colour work is pretty much standard we offer two weights as follows:

• 80gsm Draft Uncoated CAD Plotter Paper
• 90gsm Standard Uncoated CAD Plotter Paper(shown here)

80gsm is favoured for black and white line work usually associated with technical drawings and layouts, whilst this 90gsm version is favoured by customers adding colour line work and small fills as it will accept a little more ink without cockling. Both are available in rolls and sheets with the rolls having a 2 inch core (50mm). Roll lengths are 45mt, 50mt or 90mt. 45mt and 50mt length plotter rolls will fit all modern inkjet printers and 90mt will fit larger HP machines and all Canon and Epson printers that have roll feed.

GDS 90gsm Standard Inkjet Plotter Paper is a smooth matt surfaced, bright white, uncoated paper ideal for in house drawings, check prints, colour line work, layouts, mapsand technical drawings. It can be used on both dry toner and inkjet printers alike. As it is uncoated it is also perfectly suitable for any kind of hand drawing with pencils or pens.

If you are looking for a higher quality paper for client presentations or sharper prints then have a look at ourGDS Coated Paper- these papers have an invisible inkjet coating laid over the face of the paper which grabs the wet ink as it hits the page keeping a more vivid, tighter print. The coated rolls will have a smoother feel in the hand too.
