GDS Matt Coated 100gsm Paper is light weight, high quality, super smooth surfaced, coated paper which is perfect for producing prints with a higher end feel than basic uncoated paper. It is ideal for client presentations when you need your line drawings and designs to have that extra special edge. Coated paper has an invisible layer on the surface (like a super fine matt varnish) which grabs the wet ink as it hits the page during printing and keeps a 'tight', bright & vivid print to add to the soft, smooth feel when handled. This paper will take a little more ink than basic uncoated 80gsm and 90gsm ones, meaning you can use this grade to print colourful designs with a slightly heavier ink load, than line drawings, small photo images, colour fills and better quality line drawings.
