GDS 120gsm Matt Coated Paper is a high quality, bright white, coated matt presentation paper for which is ideal for presenting CAD work and technical drawings to clients or for printing low density display work on your HP T130 Printer – ie line drawings, text, etc. Great for students’ end of year work too! This size is the oversize A1 allowing you to print A1 portrait and A2 landscape from the same roll – can be trimmed to exact sheet size.
GDS Matt Coated 100gsm Paper is a high quality, bright white, coated, smooth, matt finish presentation paper which is ideal for printing presentation work on your HP T130 printer with a high-end feel than basic uncoated paper. To describe it in basic terms, it is about the weight of a decent writing paper. It is ideal for client presentations when you need your line drawings and designs to have that extra special edge. Coated paper has an invisible layer on the surface (like a super fine matt varnish) which grabs the wet ink as it hits the page during printing and keeps a ‘tight’, bright & vivid print to add to the soft, smooth feel when handled. This paper will take a little more ink than the 100gsm version, meaning you can use this grade to print colourful designs such as portfolio plans and designs or light coverage wallcharts or posters.
Our GDS brand rolls are made for us by outstanding manufacturers including Océ, Canon and Xerox to give you the very best quality at the lowest price possible.
GDS stocks a huge range of paper and media in rolls and sheets and we know exactly what fits your HP T130 Printer and what doesn’t!
The HP T130 can print on a range of media. It is aimed at the entry level architectural/construction design market so it’s perfect for mainly printing plans, layouts, technical drawings, presentation designs, etc, but you can easily print on the following media types:
If your paper is a transparent film (for example, transparency), select paper type Film>Transparent/Clear film. If your paper is a translucent paper or film (for example, technical or tracing paper), select paper type Film>Matte film.
HP T130 Bond and coated or technical paper
Your paper type selection for generic paper depends on the paper’s ink absorption capacity.
If your paper is a photo paper, use the Photo Paper category. For glossy or high-gloss paper select paper type Photo Gloss Paper. For Semi-gloss, Satin, Pearl, or Lustrefinishes, select paper type Photo Semi-gloss/Satin Paper. To increase gamut on photo paper, select paper type HP Universal Gloss Photo Paper or HP Universal Satin Photo Paper, depending on the finish.
Whether you need T130 CAD paper (uncoated basic plain white paper) for printing technical drawings and layouts, T130 Presentation paper (coated with a unique inkjet layer to give a higher quality print), T130 Heavyweight paper, or T130 Photo Paper to make sure your images look tip-top, we can pinpoint the roll or sheet pack for you. We have put together a selection of the most popular rolls and sheets for you to choose from, with total peace of mind for excellent print results.
The rolls we suggest for the HP T130 printer are all supplied on a 2 inch core (50mm) (this is the tube in the centre of the paper roll which slides onto the printer spindle) – cores come in two standard sizes 50mm (2″) and 76mm (3″) – Note the T130 cannot handle larger 3 inch core rolls.
Our T130 paper range should give you a paper product that is suitable for any of your print jobs. Our most popular papers are:
The HP T130 is an A1 size (24″) desktop printer, the smallest A1 printer in the HP DesignJet wide format category. It can take rolls up to 24″ wide / 610mm and up to 50mt long (10cms diameter). The HP T130 can also handle sheets – the cassette can be loaded with A3 or A4 paper to feed continuously or you can load A2 or A1 sheets individually. Here is an overview of the standard sizes of wide format paper rolls and sheets and the size of prints you can use them for. Sizing varies between traditional CAD sizing where true ISO sheet size is required from rolls, and graphics sizing which is almost always oversized. Where a roll accommodates 2 sizes you can print both by simply turning your print to landscape.
