GDS Gloss 190gsm Photo Paper is a high quality, bright white, paper with a high gloss finish which is ideal for printing photographic and display work on your printer. It is a great choice for posters, wall charts, portfolio work and photos in both black & white and colour. We also stock this paper with a softer semigloss (satin) finish - the satin is a little more popular as this high glossy version can produce glare under lights which can compromise your printed image. The special 4 layer coating on this paper ensures that you will get the most vivid and best quality prints with more colour vibrancy than on matt papers. GDS Photo Papers are PE backed, just like the traditional photos you would get from a print kiosk or shop, the backing is a thin plastic that stops the paper from warping even with the heaviest ink loads, so it's perfect for full coverage photos even with dark colours.

The Canon TA-20 can print on a wide range of media. The new pigment ink system in this printer makes it a versatile model for architectural, construction, designers, schools, retailers, and many more, printing plans, layouts & technical drawings as well as stunning quality presentation designs, portfolios, posters, wall charts, and banners. The pigment ink also allows you to print a slightly heavier coverage print on a lighter paper. The CanonTA-20 can also print borderless on heavier weight roll media (no margin - print edge to edge) allowing you to print posters and images on the full sheet size.

The rolls we suggest for the Canon TA-20 printer are supplied on a 2 inch core (50mm) (this is the tube in the centre of the paper roll which slides onto the printer spindle) - cores come in two standard sizes 50mm (2") and 76mm (3") but the Canon TA-20can only handle 2 inch cores.

• • 165gsm Matt Coated Paper- smart poster paper with a robust feel, capable of handling heavy inks loads for full coverage and images

• • 180gsm Matt Coated Paper- same as the 165gsm but some customers prefer the specific 180gsm weight

• • 190gsm Satin Photo Paper- a lovely sheened surface without too much glare - great for wall posters - the sharpest most vivid colours and a really professional result

• • 190gsm Gloss Photo Paper- same as the Satin but this one has a very high gloss surface

What Paper sizes fit the Canon TA-20 Printer...?

The TA-20 is an A1 size (24") desktop printer (floor stand available as an optional extra), the smallest A1 printers in the Canon imagePROGRAF wide format range. It can take rolls up to 24" wide / 610mm and up to 50mts long (uncoated or plain paper). The Canon TA-20 can also handle sheets - these need to be loaded individually. Here is an overview of the standard sizes of wide format paper rolls and sheets and the size of prints you can use them for. Sizing varies between traditional CAD sizing where true ISO sheet size is required from rolls and graphics sizing which is almost always oversized. Where a roll accommodates 2 sizes you can print both by simply turning your print to landscape.

• • 420mm -this is available in only a few product ranges and is the exact width of the long side of A3 or the short side of A2

• • 610mm - this is readily available in nearly every product range - it is oversize so when printing A2 or A1 scale drawings you would have a small margin
