MORE ABOUT THIS GDS MATT COATED 180GSM PAPER...
GDS Matt Coated 180gsm Paper is a high quality, bight white, coated, smooth, matt finish presentation paper which is ideal for printing display work on your HP T520 printer. It is ideal for posters, wallcharts, portfolio work or client presentations where your prints are to be handled a lot. Coated paper has an invisible layer on the surface (like a super fine matt varnish) which grabs the wet ink as it hits the page during printing and keeps a 'tight', bright & vivid print to add to the soft, smooth feel when handled. This paper will take a good amount of ink, meaning you can use this grade to print full coverage colourful designs and images.
Our GDS brand rolls are made for us by outstanding manufacturers including Océ, Canon and Xerox to give you the very best quality at the lowest price possible.
GDS holds huge stocks of printing paper and media in our North West warehouse. If you are not sure what you need just give theGDS Sales Teama call on01625 613548and we will be happy to advise and recommend a product to perfectly match your printer and your requirements.

What GDS recommends from our range for your perfect Canon iPF770 prints...
Whether you need iPF770 CAD paper (uncoated basic plain white paper) for printing technical drawings and layouts, iPF770 Presentation paper (coated with a unique inkjet layer to give a higher quality print), iPF770 Heavyweight paper, or iPF770 Photo Paper to make sure your images look tip top, we can pinpoint the roll or sheet pack for you.We have put together a selection of the most popular rolls and sheets for you to choose from, with total peace of mind for excellent print results.
Most of the rolls we suggest for the Canon iPF770 printer are supplied on a 2 inch core (50mm) (this is the tube in the centre of the paper roll which slides onto the printer spindle) - cores come in two standard sizes 50mm (2") and 76mm (3") and the Canon iPF770 can handle both 2 and 3 inch cores - just use the core adaptors that come with the printer to use thelarger 3 inch core rolls.

Our iPF770 paper range should give you a paper product that is suitable for any of your print jobs. Our most popular papers are:
- 80gsm Uncoated Paper- basic line drawings
- 90gsm Uncoated Paper- slightly heavier for in house line drawings maybe with a bit of colour or the odd fill
- 112gsm Tracing Paper- where translucent prints are needed for overlays
- 110 micron Double Matt Film- a polyester translucent tracing film with water resistance and anti-rip robustness
- 90gsm Matt Coated Paper- great budget roll for smart plans
- 100gsm Matt Coated Paper- perfectly smooth for that higher quality presentation feel when showing clients your plans and layouts
- 120gsm Matt Coated Paper- a heavier feel for smarter prints or 3D renders - great for portfolios or when the prints might be handled more often
- 165gsm Matt Coated Paper- smart poster paper with a robust feel, capable of handling heavy inks loads for full coverage and images
- 180gsm Matt Coated Paper- same as the 165gsm but some customers prefer the specific 180gsm weight
- 190gsm Satin Photo Paper- a lovely sheened surface without too much glare - great for wall posters - the sharpest most vivid colours and a really professional result
- 190gsm Gloss Photo Paper- same as the Satin but this one has a very high gloss surface
- 260gsm Satin Photo Paper- the heavier version of satin photo which is popular for higher end images
What Paper sizes fit the Canon iPF770 Printer...?
The iPF770 is an A0 size (36") floorstanding printer, one of the smallest A1 printers in the Canon imagePROGRAF wide format range. It can take rolls up to 36" wide / 914mm and up to 90mt long (15cms diameter). We do have customers using 150mt length rolls in the 75-80gsm papers, but Canon recommend 90mt to be the longest - this is likely due to the phsyical weight of the roll on the spindle which needs to be turned to feed by the motor. The Canon iPF770 can also handle sheets - these need to be loaded individually. Here is an overview of the standard sizes of wide format paper rolls and sheets and the size of prints you can use them for. Sizing varies between traditional CAD sizing where true ISO sheet size is required from rolls, and graphics sizing which is almost always oversized. Where a roll accommodates two sizes you can print both by simply turning your print to landscape - if you don't know to do this, call us - it's a simple check box.
