What inks can be used on the Canon GP-2000?
The Canon GP-2000 Printer has an eleven-colour Lucia PRO ink system using a wide colour gamut that features the standard colours, plus five new colours – red, orange, green and violet – plus fluorescent pink. The GP-2000 24″ printer comes with a generous set of 160ml full-size starter ink cartridges in the box ready for you to start printing straight away and the replacement PFI-2100, PFI-2300 or PFI-2700 ink cartridges are available from stock. Canon GP-2000 Photo Printer Connectivity
The Canon GP-2000 Photo Printer is wireless, but can also be connected via Ethernet cable to a network, or by USB cable to a PC. Printing Substrates for the Canon GP-2000 Photo Printer
The GP-2000 can handle a huge variety of media rolls in widths from 297mm up to the full width of 610mm. The GP-2000 can also accept sheets from A4 to A1 with individual loading, and a dual roll feed is optional, allowing two rolls to be loaded or the second roll to be used for print takeup. We recommend 432mm width for A2 prints and 610mm width for A1 size for the widest choice in paper and media rolls. The GP-2000 printer has both 2-inch core & 3-inch core capacity so you can choose from a wide range of media from basic plain paper, through matt poster types, heavyweight 260gsm satin and gloss photo paper rolls, fine art media, banner film, canvas and self-adhesive vinyl. Our most popular choice for satin photos is our Canon Satin 260gsm Photo Paper. For Fine Art prints many customers choose our GDS 180gsm Matt Coated Poster Roll for budget prints and our GDS Fine Art Smooth 300gsm for limited edition work.
